?Dobilas? was established in 1941 on the basis of enterprise ?Orfa? which has been existing since 1925. Traditional assortment of the company is outwear for men and women: coats, raincoats and jackets. The company produces about 170000 garments a year. The company employs approximately 300 employees. In 1982 the production departments of the enterprise obtained new buildings for the sewing and cutting rooms.

In 1989 according to the contract with Japanese corporation ?Juki?, all the sewing and cutting equipment was changed for a new one, produced by ?Juki? and ?Gerber? companies. Our company had a new automatic cutting system (made by ?Gerber?) installed in the cutting department and sewing machines, automatic and semiautomatic machines (?Juki?), ready-made garments mover system (?Gerber?) instaled in the sewing departments.

The joint-stock company ?Dobilas? is one of the most modern clothes making enterprices in Lithuania. It has been well known for its high-quality production.

At present the company is co-operating with foreign companies from Great Britain, Germany, Holland, France, Sweden and Denmark. 98 % of our production is sent to these countries.
